1986 Born in Keelung
Working through his independent studio practice, Lee Cheng-Liang creates large-scale objects, furniture, and spatial installations using materials such as steel, wood, and stone. Integrating craftsmanship, painting, and narrative into a conceptual framework, he develops each work in response to the unique qualities and potential of its materials, allowing form and environment to enter into dialogue. His practice explores everyday life across diverse cultural contexts, offering interpretations of and reflections on contemporary living.
