This project takes the grand Guanyin Mountain and Taiping Mountain in Bali District as its background and draws inspiration from the area’s rich natural environment. The artwork Watching Eagles, Listening to the Waves is based on the image of an eagle spreading its wings, symbolizing freedom and hope. The bright and light texture of painted stainless steel contrasts with the solid heaviness of stone, showing a balance between lightness and strength—like the dialogue between the eagle and the mountains. The use of colorful inlaid glass represents the variety of species found in the wetlands, creating a lively and story-filled atmosphere. The work hopes to remind people of their connection with nature and bring more energy and hope to Bali, wishing everyone to spread their wings like an eagle and freely move toward the future.
